On 13 September in Rīga, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Neris Germanas participated in the second Japan – Baltic cooperation dialogue. The Japan-initiated cooperation dialogue with the Baltic states was launched in 2018 in Vilnius.

On 11-12 September, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius participated in the meeting of the Nordic and Baltic (NB8) Foreign Ministers in Reykjavik, Iceland. The meeting focused on issues of importance to all countries in the region, including regional security challenges, cyber and hybrid threats, relations with Russia and China, the situation in Ukraine, items on the EU agenda, the Arctic, climate change, and other issues.

On 29-30 August, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius attended the Informal Meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of EU member states (Gymnich) in Finland. The meeting focused on the situation in the Persian Gulf, the EU regional cooperation with the Western Balkans, and the EU policy for the Arctic.

On 9 July, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Neris Germanas attended the OSCE Informal Ministerial Gathering in Slovakia's High Tatras. N. Germanas emphasized the need to ensure the effective activity of multilateral organizations, to clearly identify root causes of conflicts, and not to disregard violations of countries' international commitments in order to address today's grave security situation facing the OSCE region.

On 9-10 July, the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Asta Skaisgirytė, takes part in an informal meeting of the EU Political Directors (foreign affairs) in Helsinki, Finland. The EU Political Directors are discussing effective multilateralism, the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy, hybrid threats, the Arctic, and other issues.

On 2 July, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius met with Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland. The Foreign Ministers discussed the strengthening of bilateral ties between Lithuania and Canada, and growing economic cooperation between the countries.

On 18 June in Luxembourg, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Albinas Zananavičius attended the General Affairs Council, which finalized preparations for the European Council meeting of 20-21 June.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania does not recognize the so-called “parliamentary elections” that took place on 9 June in Georgia's Russian-occupied Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia. The “elections” are illegal and have no credible results. In addition, the Foreign Ministry of Lithuania denounces the ongoing attempts to consolidate annexation of the region.

On 3 June, in Jūrmala, Latvia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius attended a high-level meeting marking the end of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States. Together with his counterparts from the Baltic and Nordic countries, Germany, Russia, and the European External Action Service, L. Linkevičius discussed prospects for the Baltic Sea regional cooperation.

On 24 May, the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Asta Skaisgirytė met with Jukka Salovaara, Director General of the Finnish Foreign Ministry's Political Department. The meeting discussed the agenda for Finland's upcoming Presidency of the Council of the EU. The country will hold the Presidency of the Council in the second half of this year.
