Bilateral Lithuania – Pakistan consultations
On October 22-24, 2018 bilateral Lithuania – Pakistan consultations were held in Islamabad.
During the 6th such consultations to date, the regional directors of the respective Foreign Ministries reviewed the bilateral agenda, exchanged views on regional developments and trends in global affairs. As part of the programme, the Lithuanian delegation at the head of Ambassador Eduardas Borisovas, Director General of the Department of Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Pacific, was received by the Pakistani Minister of Science and Technology in Islamabad and the Governor of Punjab in Lahore. Mutual trade opportunities were discussed at the meetings at the Ministry of Commerce, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Department of Agriculture of the Government of Punjab.
