CHANGES IN NATIONAL VISA APPLICATION PROCESS

From July 1, 2023 amendments to the Law on the Legal Status of Foreigners enter into force. According to the amendments foreigners who are not in the Republic of Lithuania will apply for a national visa only through an external service provider chosen by the Migration Department. In order to process national visa applications on time, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of Turkiye will accept national visa applications until June 13, 2023.
