Charity Bazaar in Ankara

The Lithuanian Embassy participated in the traditional Charity Bazaar of DMEDD (The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spouses Solidarity Association) which was held on 10th December 2016, at TOBB ETU University of Economics and Technology. This annual even is one of the most important fund-raising activities of DMEDD. The proceeds go to the most disadvantageous members of the society.
Mrs Imsre Sabaliunas Bruzgiene, the spouse of the Lithuanian ambassador in company with Mrs Kristina Babiciene and Dovile Pauzaite brought to the bazaar a variety of Lithuanian hand–made gifts and handicrafts. The best-selling items were those made and donated by members of the Lithuanian Special Needs Association „Viltis“.
