Event to support Ukraine and honor the memory of Lithuanian director Mantas Kvedaravičius

On the 31st of May, an event organized by the Ukrainian, Lithuanian and Polish Embassies in Turkey took place at the National Library of Turkey in Ankara. The purpose of the event was to express the support to Ukraine and honor the memory of Lithuanian director Mantas Kvedaravičius, who was killed by Russian occupiers in Ukraine this spring.

The attendees watched M. Kvedaravičius' documentary film "Mariupolis" (2016), and visited exhibition of Vyacheslav Tverdokhlib‘s photographs capturing images of Mariupol city destroyed during the Russian invasion. Informational videos on Polish aid to peaceful people forced to flee from Ukraine to Poland were demonstrated as well.
