Job opportunity at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania

Job title: Consular Assistant

Duration of contract: 1 year

Summary of position:

- admits visa applicants and their documents;

- assists Consular Officer in managing visa applications;

- communicates with Turkish institutions regarding consular issues;

- provides consular information for persons concerned.

Requirements and qualifications:

Education: Bachelor‘s degree from a recognised university (social sciences);

Language: fluent Turkish and English;

The candidate should be able to work with MS Office and able to learn working with computer programs, used at the Embassy;

The candidate should be able to work as part of a team, with a high sense of responsibility, strong ethics and discretion;

Relevant previous professional experience would be an asset;

Knowledge of basics of Lithuanian language would be an asset.
