LITHUANIA ASSISTS TURKEY IN IMPLEMENTATION OF FOOD SAFETY CONTROL

Lithuanian delegation from the State Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Lithuania is participating in the Closing Conference of the EU Twinning project Restructuring and Strengthening of Food Safety and Control System in Turkey which is being held on October 30-31 in Ankara.
Lithuanian State Food and Veterinary Service, together with partners from Germany were organizing study visits for colleagues from Turkey in the framework of the project. Turkish experts had a chance to study Lithuanian practice to draw their conclusions for Turkey from the comparison.The duration of the EU funded project (EUR 1.5 million) was 2 years.
