Lithuanian Ambassador visited Bursa
On 22-23 February 2016 Ambassador Audrius Bruzga and Consul Dovilė Paužaitė visited Bursa to promote friendly relations and cooperation.
The Lithuanian delegates were met by the Regional Vice Governor, Mr. Fatih Kadiroğlu, Mayor of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Mr Recep Altepe, Mayor of Iznik, Mr Osman Sargin. In a meeting at the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry it was agreed to encourage bussinesmen of Turkey and Lithuania to look for new business opportunities made available by the growing economies of both countries. At the Uludag University discussion focused on cooperation in R&D. While in Bursa Ambassador Bruzga gave a interview to the Olay TV live news program and visited the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in Bursa headed by Mr Berat Tunakan, a respected and succesful Bursa hotelier.
