On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Lithuania, Honorary Consul Mustafa Ozsoy opened in Izmir an exhibition „Paper Transformed Into Art“.
The exhibition of traditional paper cutting art, stemming from the rich Lithuanian folklore, was meticulously and skillfully crafted by artists from the Lithuanian Folk Artists‘ Society. The exhibition was made possible through close colaboration with the Lithuanian Embassy in Ankara and Dr. Jovita Sakalauskaitė from the Department of Fashion and Textile Design in the University of Economics in Izmir. The paper cutting art exhibition is on display at the Aegean Chamber of Industry and will remain there until January 28.
