Upon receiving the news of the tragic death of the former Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania, Mr Zafer Turker, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.

The late Zafer Turker served as Lithuania’s Honorary Consul in Eskişehir from 2017 to 2018. In the summer of 2018, Mr Turker’s appointment as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania ended, after which time he continued to pursue his business interests in a private capacity.
