Prime Minister conveys condolences to Turkey over deadly explosion
Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius has conveyed condolences to the families of those killed at Wednesday’s explosion in Ankara, Turkey. It has been described as an act of terrorism.
“We are shattered by the deadly events in Turkey, which have taken away the lives of the innocent people. On behalf of the Government, I offer heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, and I wish strength to the injured”, said Prime Minister Butkevičius.
The Head of Government has stressed that any act of terrorism is brutal and reprehensible means used for political purposes.
