Results of the call of applications for implementation of the development cooperation projects in the Republic of Turkiye under the concept #1
25 March 2024 The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Türkiye has launched a call for development cooperation project proposals for the implementation of the MFA Development Cooperation and Democracy Support Programme in the Republic of Türkiye in 2024 under 2 concepts - on the promotion of cooperation between the Lithuanian and the Turkish municipal level on the issues of the environment, renewable energy, climate change and the restoration of the green space in Türkiye; intending to allocate up to €12 500 for each project.
The following applications were received by the deadline for submission of applications for the concept note regarding the restoration of the green space in Türkiye:
- Increasing the Awareness Level of the Roma Community about Environmental pollution. Project implementer – Roma Community in Mersin;
- Sustainable Ajunga Relicta and Beekeeping in the Eastern Taurus (SABET). Project implementer – Green Transformation in Industry, Adaptation to Climate Change and Bioeconomy Research Association;
- “Green Smart Park” - Establishment of a Park in the Kars Municipality. Project implementer – Kars Women Entrepreneurs Association.
Following the evaluation of the applications the Commission of the Embassy decided that none of the applications meets the purposes outlined in the concept note and subsequently decided to launch a new updated call for proposals regarding the recreation of green spaces in Türkiye.
