STATE INDEPENDENCE RESTORATION DAY WAS CELEBRATED IN ANKARA

The Embassy of Lithuania in Turkey together with the Association of Children with Cerebral Paralysis (SERCEV) and public organization VERITAS has arranged Lithuanian jazz concert on March 13 in commemoration of 18th anniversary of restoration of the independence of Lithuania. Liudas Mockunas and CHORDOS string quartet gave a concert in Ankara.
After the concert Jam Session with local jazz musicians were performed.Lithuanian jazz band had greatly attracted the attention of Turkish media. A lot of Turkish newspapers highlighted the concert and on March 12, Lithuanian musicians were invited to the TV8 program to perform their peaces.
All funds collected during the concert will be dedicated to the charity purposes.
