YOUTH THEATER FROM TELSIAI IN INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S THEATER FESTIVAL IN ANKARA
Youth theater „Aglija“ from Telsiai participated in International Children’s theater Festival “Little Ladies, Little Gentelmen“, which took part on 22-30 April in Ankara. The Festival contributes to the “23 April Children’s Day“, celebrated in Turkey.
Children and youth theaters from Spain, UK, Canada, Croatia, Cuba, Lithuania, the Netherlands, France, Slovenia, Turkey, Germany and Ukraine came to the festival organized by Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.Turkish audience warmly welcomed Lithuanian play named “M“, directed by Laima Adomaitiene.
Young actors also came to visit the Embassy where Ambassador to Turkey D. Pranckevicius congratulated guests with a nice performance.
Ambassador emphasized that a play of „Aglija“ is one of the best examples of the intensive cooperation between Lithuania and Turkey in the sphere of culture. He wished that young performers would come to Turkey and show their plays in the future.
L. Adomaityte thanked for a possibility to visit the Embassy and confirmed that „Aglija“ has already got some invitations to perform in other cities of Turkey.
